Just Dance!

So I have joined the craze of Just Dance games!! I got 2 and 3 for Christmas but hadn't tried them until tonight and I love them! They are so much fun and a perfect workout for me right now:) I was sweating like crazy doing some of them, and haven't done that in awhile so it was nice!! I just like everything about them and happy I found something besides the dreadmill to do. I like having my treadmill but I find it hard to want to get it out and set up and then put it back...lazy bones here! But I will probably be dancing alot more and may even try my ea active sports ones and see if I can do some of them. I was just so excited to have found a new exercise and wanted to share, if you haven't tried them you should!:)

One Year Ago!

A year ago today(well really I guess yesterday now) was the day I started this new lifestyle! I can't say how happy I am to be sitting here and saying that I've actually stuck to it through out a whole year!! I've accomplished alot more than I ever though I would! I started out think if I could get back into one-derland I would be thrilled, and I reached that goal and then went even further and lost 24 more pounds at my lowest weight. I've learned so many things this past year about food, exercise, and what my body needs in order to be healthy. I was able to wear single digit pant sizes and wear a size medium in shirts and dress, which I can't even remember when I did that last. I was able to start running and to exercises I never even dreamed about doing before. Its been such an amazing year! I did have some tough times through it but came out with a positive attitude. I'm so so so very grateful to have found MyFitnessPal, without that site I wouldn't have been able to have gotten to the point I have. All of you on there that have been with me through out this year are so amazing!! I love you all and am so thankful for you support and friendships!! One of my biggest goals was to get healthy and be able to live that way for when I got pregnant again. Yeah sure I've had my days where I've given into some of my cravings but for the most part I am still right on track with it all. I haven't been exercising as much but I'm hoping to be able to start getting in a couple exercise sessions a week now that I'm in the second trimester. I've had more nausea this time which has made a difference than my last pregnancy but at this point last time I was up around 10 pounds, this time I'm up 6 from my lowest weight...actually down 5 from when I found out I was pregnant. And I actually find fruits are my favorite things to eat right now, and they take away the cravings for the sugary junk food. I'm not meaning for this post to be braggy, but I am very proud of myself for how far I have come. 245 pounds to 175 pounds which really happened in 9ish months, and then maintained for a month and had a slight gain but its been coming back off....I'm so very happy with that!!! This next year might not be as successful as this past one, due to being pregnant for more than half the year, but I will continue to live the life I have been and to do as much as I can to stay healthy! I have a goal set to do a 5k in the fall once I can start exercising and get ready for it, I haven't done one yet and its on my list of things I want to do as well as a 1/2 marathon in 2013! So here's to staying the course and having another healthy year!!!

Belly Picture

This is me at 12 weeks well, 12.5 really. I'm about 4.5 pounds down from when I found out I was pregnant, even though to me I feel alot bigger, still about 7 pounds up from my smallest. I'm still wearing my normal jeans (size 10's)  but will probably be switching to maternity jeans once they arrive. For some reason the button on my jeans bug the heck out of me. Anyways here's the picture not the best quality since its off my phone, my charger for my computer broke so hopefully the next picture will be better:)

Ticker

So I've decided to reset it to my lowest weight, that way when I'm done with this pregnancy I know where I was. Then I can add what I've gained through the pregnancy and try to get back there and to my ultimate goal of 165-160ish. Anyways thought I'd just update really quick on that, I'm going to go hit the treadmill for a bit:)

I'm Still Alive!!

December was such a busy month for us I just didn't ever find time to update here.
We had a wonderful christmas here, alot of what I got had to do with fitness. I got a new hrm(polar ft60), the new zumba program, new walking/running shoes, just dance 2&3 for the wii, and then my treadmill and exercise bike. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and is ready to start a healthy 2012!!
In baby news I got to see it yesterday:) everything looks good. They are due on July 23rd but since I'll have a c-section the doctor will most likely take me the week before. They had a strong heartrate at 176bpm....everyone is thinking girl! Morning sickness and exhaustion are still kicking my butt, but I'm hoping it'll ease up in the next few weeks.
Now for stats for December, I didn't do a very good job tracking everything this month. However I do think I hit all my goals:) which were 1000 minutes of exercise, 12,000 calories burned, and maintain or lose weight! On the weight part I'm actually down 4 pounds from when I found out I was pregnant, so I'm happy about that. I would love if I could maintain around this weight until around 20 weeks, we'll see what happens though. I'm not really going to set goals for this next month and I really haven't made any resolutions for this year either. I just want to continue to live a healthy lifestyle and to increase my fitness. Well I think that's all for now:)
